Steve Coppard reports:

Jon went on first and soon despatched his opponent in three quick games to chalk up his first win of the season.

Steve went on the other court and powered his way through the first two, lost his way in the next two but eventually got back on track to take the last, again for his first win of the season.

Rich meanwhile played his normal high tempo squash to win in three easy games.

Sam played conservatively to win in three games without extending himself.

Stuart was last on and was suffering from the world’s worst known illness, “man flu”. He took an easy first game but then his legs refused to obey his brain and stopped working. He lost in four.

A good 18 points lifts us up the league at half way – all to play for in the second half!!
